In some cases like Startup issues, you are forced to Reset BIOS settings. The procedure is a bit difficult for a new person to understand.
Steps to Reset Motherboard BIOS or CMOS
Step 1: Open the BIOS menu
You must first open the BIOS menu and locate the Default Settings option if you want to reset the BIOS to its factory defaults. Users of Windows 10 have access to advanced startup options and can enter the BIOS menu. You can restart Windows in Windows Recovery Environment by selecting Start -> Power, pressing the Shift key, and selecting Restart.
Then select Restart to access the BIOS settings screen by selecting Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > UEFI Firmware Settings. You can also simply restart your computer and then hit the appropriate key at the startup screen to enter the BIOS settings panel. The hotkey can be F12, Del, Esc, F8, F2, etc., depending on the computer manufacturer.
Step 2: Select the Default Settings option
On different computers, the “Setup Defaults” option may have another name and position. Load Default, Load Setup Defaults, Load Default Settings, Load BIOS Defaults, Optimal Load Defaults, etc. are familiar names. To locate the BIOS setting default option in the BIOS settings screen, use the arrow keys on your computer keyboard. It might be located in one of the BIOS tabs.
Step 3: Reset Windows 10’s BIOS
Once you have located the Load Setup Defaults option, you can start Windows 10’s BIOS factory reset by selecting it and pressing the Enter key. Finally, you can save and quit BIOS by pressing F10. Your computer will restart on its own. The same steps can be used to access BIOS once more and make changes if necessary in the future.
